Aldgate Station next to the ticket barriers, during and in response to the war in Iraq
I walked up to the LU employee and asked if I could use his announcement system, he handed it to me and I sang "what the world needs now is love sweet love, no not just for some but for every one of us, what the world needs now is love sweet love, aint that just the thing that there's just too little of" I sang it over and over until another more senior staff member approached me, so I said thank you and handed the announcement system back to him.

Sainsbury's on Tottenham Court Road
I located the microphone for customer announcements on a workstation at the centre of the super market and after the system had made the "bing bong" sound I said "ladies and gentlemen this is a customer announcement, today everything in Sainsbury’s is free, take what you want just as Sainsbury’s take what they want from the growers and producers of this food"

Earl's Court underground station, district line, westbound Platform.
Asked the LU employee if I could have a go on his announcement system, he said yes as long as you say, "Please stay behind the yellow line" so I sang it in a dub style.

9.03 am October 25th 2005
Old Street Station, northerline south bound platform.
I asked the LU employee if I could use the announcement system and sang, "please stay behind the yellow line".

8.58 am October 31st 2005
Old Street Station, northern line platform, south, bound.
The same LU employee on the came up to me and offered me the announcement system.

9.02 am November 15th 2005
Old Street Station, entrance barriers
The same LU employee came up to me and said how sorry he was that he was no longer working on the platform and wouldn't be able to give me access to the tannoy system.

LU employee smiled and handed me the gadget for the public address system i sang "please stay behind the yellow line" and as i walked down the platform afterwards most of the people smiled at me.

Lu Employee handed me the PA and i sang as usual.

Lu employee announces that the Northern line is suspended, then i ask him if i can use his public address system and i sing 'what the world needs now is love sweet love...' the platform explodes into applause (the first I have ever had!)
later when the line is restored as the train comes into the platform i sing the usual 'please stay behind the yellow line'

Euston Station north bound northern line platform
i asked the Lu employee if i could have a go on his public address system, he said how do i know you're not about to start spouting off? i said i'll just say please stay behind the yellow line. I sang it - he got nervous and took the mouth piece back (they are now digital) but i asked him again and he said ok so i sang the usual version - people all along the platform looked at me with bovine expressions. i had to wait for an edgeware train so i sang the song twice more. I would like to come up with a melody for please stand back from the closing doors and move right along inside the carriages.
